This wonderful vintage garment made in DHtech 400 is dedicated to the “flying” twins Rhona and Rhoda Wurtele, Canadian skiers, pioneer in this discipline, the first to win an Olympic medal for Canada and then winners of numerous races in a long and exciting career in the 40s and 50s, the photo, reproduced with a patient handcrafted knit work, portrays them in Banff in 1947 and is also the cover of the book that tells their incredible life “NO LIMITS”.
They are both present in four different Hall of Fame. Today they are 97 years old.
Newland and the Wurtele twins have so much in common! We chose that photo because we love the details, the positive values and we love sport, we constantly strive to offer unique products with a great value of style and content and we really think it is a perfect combination: excellence and innovation in the sport thanks to the incredible flying twins and excellence and innovation in sportswear thanks to Newland!
We produce very special items, with the intention of bringing the highest quality and technology in sportswear but at the same time our models impress with their unconventional design and their great craftsmanship. We liked the idea of combining great technical properties with such an evocative image, which perfectly expressed our idea of woman and strength in sport!
Rhoda, Rhona and Newland. A single great passion for sport.
